Welcome to the Lincolnshire Community Healthcare Child Immunisation service
Primary School and Special Schools only
The children’s flu vaccine is offered to all children in primary schools and special schools to help protect them against flu. In most cases this will be a nasal spray. Following review of your child’s consent form, a nurse will contact you if your child is not able to have the nasal spray vaccine. If your child attends a special school and is over the age of 18 they will be given the vaccine as an injection.
Diptheria, Tetanus & Polio (Td/IPV) - Teenage Booster, Meningococcal ACWY
Year 9 only
These vaccinations are two separate injections given on the same day in opposite arms.
The Td/IPV (Teenage Booster) is given as a single injection. This should be the 5th and final Diptheria, Tetanus and Polio vaccination your child will need. This will then complete the course they started as a baby.
The MenACWY vaccine is also given as a single injection protecting against Meningitis A, C, W and Y.
