School Immunisation Service Vaccination Consent Forms

Seasonal Flu

All schools. The children’s flu vaccine is offered to all children to help protect them against flu. In most cases this will be a nasal spray. Following review of your child’s consent form, a nurse will contact you if your child is not able to have the nasal spray vaccine. If your child attends a special school and is over the age of 18, they will be given the vaccine as an injection. If you would prefer your child to have an injection in place of the nasal spray as it contains porcine gelatine, please contact the service on 01522 572950 to register your preference.
